Thomas Cook & Mytravel Merger
The EC, this week approved the tie up between Thomas Cook Holidays and Mytravel Group. The new venture is expected to finalise the merger by mid June after shareholder approval. The EC's decision is likely to lead to the proposed First Choice and TUI tie up also being given the green light in early June.
